Camp Hill House - Extension and Renovation
This house was already charming, but with children approaching their teenage years, the family decided they were in need of some extra space.
Rather than taking the ‘build under’ route, this project is situated on a previously under‐utilised patch of grass in the back yard and takes the form of a two‐storey gabled wing. A matching gable was added to the existing living to reflect the new addition.
The two storey space contains two bedrooms at the upper level and a second living space at the lower level. By relocating these bedrooms it was possible to create an ensuite and walk‐in‐robe for the master bedroom, improved storage in the kitchen, a new laundry, refurbished bathroom and study nook within the new living space.
